DropSquaD was formed in 2008.
The Band Comprises of five members namely..
DJ Tashi , Amrish the guitarist and drummer,
LZ and BK on the Vocals ..and last but not the least..

The name DropSquaD means 'collection of Artists'
Likewise the members of the band come from a different background of music.
Amrish comes from a Rock Music Background.
DJ Tashi is into Trance , Techno and House Music.
LZ grew up listening to old school hip hop like 2pac,Bone Thugs & Harmony.
BK started his music career listening to Pop,RnB and Hip-hop Music.
And lastly Deepankar is highly into BeatBoxing and infulenced by Hip-Hop Music.
So the Variaton of their taste can be noticed in their music.
"We play music because we love music,We don't differentiate music by its Genre,that's the best thing about our band" says DJ Tashi of DropSquaD.
Their Sound is a mixture of Hip-hop, RnB , Rock,Pop,Jazz and Alternative music.
They believe that with their music,they can reach out to all types of audiences.
The band has performed in various places and Night Clubs like Deibel,Saffire,Elevate and Club T.
And in colleges like Miranda House,Hindu College and IIT Mumbai.
DropSquaD has been featured in National Newspapers like
The Indian Express and The Times of India.
Recently the band has signed the contract with Times Music.
